If you have received an EEA Family Permit or Residence Card refusal, YDVISAS can assist with your appeal. YDVISAS has processed many successful appeals for a variety of applications and our immigration experts work with passion and diligence on every case.

As winners of ‘Best Immigration Law Firm in the UK’ for 2016, we offer our clients a first rate service.

Key EEA Family Permit / Residence Card Requirements

  • Proof of your valid relationship with the EEA national family member.
  • Proof of your dependency on EEA national family member.
  • Proof that your EEA national family member is exercising EU treaty rights

EEA Residence Card Refusals

An EEA Residence Card may be refused if the above criteria are not met. Refusals are also issued if you are deemed a health/public safety risk, in violation of policy, or if the Home Office believes you have used deception in your application.

You can appeal against an EEA Residence Card refusal although the time frame for an appeal is very brief – 14 days (in country applications) and 28 days (out of the country applications) after you receive a refusal decision.
